Ron English is an American contemporary artist born in 1959 who explores popular brand imagery and advertising. Maybe you can remember his work from the documentary Super Size Me. He made the fat Ronald McDonald in the poster of the movie. I think his work is really attracting, he combines kids and cartoons or movie stars with cartoons. In his works Ron English takes inspiration from Andy Warhol, if you know some of the Warhol works you can really catch the inspiration. Also he references lots of cartoons and the band KISS.
